Lee Lipton led an apparel business in NYC overseeing design, manufacturing, marketing, and distribution of licensed collections. He represented apparel brands such as Calvin Klein, St John Knits, and Guess. He sold that company and moved into hospitality with several oceanfront restaurants. He holds a BA degree from Bryant University. He is currently Interim Permanent Representative to the US Mission to the Organization of American States.

In the lawsuitOregon v. Trump docket # 25-6268 filed October 5, 2025 in the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals as an appeal of docket 3:25-cv-01756 (discussed in my October 1, 2025 ANP Article) about the National Guard Deployment a Stay was Granted on October 8, 2025. The Stay only addresses the previous court's decision to stop the deployment of NG troops, allowing President Trump and his Administration to continue to federalize NG troops but to not deploy them until the full lawsuit is heard & adjudicated.
The judicial Power of the United States, shall be vested in one supreme Court, and in such inferior Courts as the Congress may from time to time ordain and establish.
