On December 17, 2025, Army Sergeants William Howard and Edgar Torres Tovar of the 1st Squadron, 113th Cavalry Regiment, 2nd Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 34th Infantry Division, Iowa Army National Guard who were deployed to Syria in support of Operation Inherent Resolve were received by President Trump as they were returned to the US. The pair were killedon December 13, 2025 along with interpreter Ayad Mansoor Sakat while engaging with hostile forces in Syria.
I, like many others, wonder why our National Guardsmen were deployed outside of our country.
President Donald J. Trump and Secretary of War Pete Hegseth honor the three Americans who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country.
Their selfless service and bravery will never be forgotten. 🇺🇸
On December 17, 2025, the White House released thePresidential Message on Wright Brothers Dayexpressing honor for the Wright Brothers success, genius, and bravery that has led to US leadership in flight and aviation, both within our atmosphere and beyond into outer space. With the creation of the Space Administration by President Trump in his 1st term, the focus turns from domestic and international travel into space travel with a goal of returning to the moon and then on to Mars. In addition, President Trump is focusing the FAA towards supersonic flight which will incorporate the latest in AI technology. President Trump writes:
In the 122 years since the Wright brothers revolutionary flight, our Nation has never stopped gazing upward in wonder and hope. As we commemorate Orville and Wilburs legendary achievement today, we pledge to carry their vision into every new frontier and keep Americas skies bright with the innovation, discovery, and unstoppable spirit that drive our Nation to new heights.
Public Law 86-304 (HJR513)was signed into law by President Dwight D Eisenhower on September 21, 1959. This action was followed up with Public Law 87-291 (JHR109)signed into law September 22, 1961. ThenPublic Law 88-209 (HJR335)signed into law on December 17, 1963. All 3 are the same, simple paragraph (makes you wonder why they had to do the exact same thing 3 times, did they lose track of the previous laws?):
Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the 17th day of December 1959 is hereby designated as "Wright Brothers Day", in commemoration of the first successful flights in a heavier-than-air, mechanically propelled airplane, which were made by Orville and Wilbur Wright on December 17, 1903, near Kitty Hawk, North Carolina. The President is authorized and requested to issue a proclamation inviting the people of the United states to observe such day with appropriate ceremonies and activities.
Leadership of the Wright Brothers Day celebration is usually taken by the Wright Brothers National Memorial, Kill Devil Hills, North Carolina. The memorial consists of the field and hangar used by the brothers, the brothers' living quarters, two wooden sheds, small monuments marking the 4 flights they made, and a visitor center.
On December 17, 2025, the White House released the articleDemocrats Caused High Prices. President Trump Is Bringing Them Downtouting inflation being cut by more than 1/2, price for gas has fallen, real wages are rising, and "key" household expenses are finally lowering. The article reminds us that when President Trump took office, he took on the failed economy of the autopen reign where inflation rose as much as 9.1%. That did not happen over night, nor will it be fixed over night. Inflation is down to 2.7%, price for food is down, gas prices continue to decline (I'm even seeing the decline where I live now), and the cost of a mortgage is declining (a 30-year fixed rate is 12% lower now).
Wilbur excelled in school and planned to attend Yale after high school; however, in winter 1885-1886 he was badly injured in an ice hockey game injuring him severely enough that he was unable to graduate from high school. He spent this time recovering, caring for his mother (who died from Tuberculosis in 1889), and reading books from the family library.
In 1889, Wilbur and his younger brother, Orville, started 2 newspapers: the West Side Newsand the Evening Item. Wilbur edited and Orville published. They sold the newspapers in 1899. In 1893, Wilbur and Orville opened a bike shop where they fixed bikes and later sold their own designs. They left the bike business in 1908. While operating these businesses, The brothers followed German Otto Lilienthal's work in aviation. When Otto died, the Wright brothers moved to Kitty Hawk, North Carolina due to the strong winds they could find there.
On December 17, 1903, Wilbur flew the plane they made for 59 seconds covering 852 feet. This success was not celebrated. In fact, many people were reluctant to believe the claims. Between 1905 and spring 1908, the brothers did not fly. In spring 1908, they were contracted by the US Army to produce an airplane that would fly for 1 hour at a speed of 40mph. Orville remained in the US to monitor the Army contract while in 1908, Wilbur went to France hoping for a much more receptive audience. He made public flights giving rides to officials, statesmen, and journalists.
In 1909, Orville and their youngest sister, Katharine, joined Wilbur in France. While there, they started selling their airplanes to European parties. Then they returned to the US where the reception they experienced was much better. They created an aviation company becoming quite wealthy selling airplanes.
Wilbur never married saying "I do not have time for both a wife and an airplane."
Wilbur was diagnosed with typhoid fever after falling ill during a trip to Boston (presumably from eating contaminated oysters) in April 1912. He died May 30, 1912 at age 45 in the family home in Dayton, Ohio. He is interred at Dayton's Woodland Cemetery.
Things which seemed reasonable were often found to be untrue,
and things which seemed unreasonable were sometimes true.
Orville was encouraged to develop his intellect and allowed to investigate where ever his curiosity took him. He attended schools in Iowa, Indiana, and Dayton, Ohio. In 1881, the family moved to Richmond, Indiana. While there, Orville developed an interest in kites, soon making his own. In 1884, the family moved back to Ohio. Orville attended Dayton Central High School. He dropped out during his senior year because he never really liked school, spending his spare time on his hobbies. He had a summer job working in a print shop leading him to design his own printing press.
In 1889, Orville's mother died (see above). Sister Katharine took over the running of the household. Orville, Wilbur, and Katharine experienced a strong bond that lasted throughout their lives. That same year Orville joined older brother Wilbur to open 2 newspapers (see Wilbur above for the brothers' joint ventures between 1889 to 1912). The business success allowed them to build a grand family home in Dayton, Ohio.
On May 25, 1910, Orville was the pilot and Wilbur his passenger where they flew for 6 minutes. This is the only time the brothers flew together. Orville also took their father for a flight as well.
When Wilbur died in 1912, Orville had to become president of the company; however, he was not business oriented, selling the business in 1915. Orville focused his energy serving on boards and committees related to aeronautics for the rest of his life. He also built his own laboratory where he continued to work on inventions of personal interest.
In 1926, Katharine (1874-1929) got married to Henry Joseph Haskell November 20, 1826 which upset Orville greatly. He thought the three of them would always be with each other and felt Katharine's marriage was a great betrayal of the sibling bond. When Katharine was gravely ill from pneumonia in 1929, he did relent, after much persuasion, to visit her at her deathbed. Katharine and Henry had no children.
Orville died January 30, 1948 at age 76 from a 2nd heart attack. He is interred in the Wright family plot atDayton's Woodland Cemeteryin Dayton, Ohio.
Those are some of the exact words used by Googles censors, aka 'Orwelliancontent police,' in describing many of our controversial stories.Stories later proven to be truthful and light years ahead of the mainstream media. But because we reported those 'inconvenient truths' they're trying to bankrupt ANP.
