Gang Violence Prevention Week, President Trump At The UN, FLOTUS Creates Fostering The Future Together, Disqus Wants Age Verification, Articles of Confederation Part 6, And More
This week, our Nation remembers the victims and supports the families that have fallen victim to gang violence. We extend our sincere gratitude and support to the heroic men and women of American law enforcement who are working tirelessly to rid our streets of these vicious criminals. Under my leadership, we are restoring law and order to America’s cities, reestablishing our national sovereignty, and ensuring that our children, families, and communities can live out their American dream free from gang violence.
I wonder why it was dropped back in 1994, especially since both houses of Congress passed a version of "set aside one week to honor the victims of gang violence" but apparently did not reconcile the two bills and dropped them unceremoniously. Seems to me they did not want the public to become fully aware of the gang problem. They transferred the 'focus' of violence from the adult gang members to the generic 'youth' label (which used to be defined as under 18 but now they are taking it up to 21). The problem is, the adult gang members have more influence over the 'youth' than other 'youth' have over each other. "Just say no" does not work (although like the CV jabs, they still push it). And the adults know if you reach the 'youth' young enough, you can have them fully committed to your gang in a way they can never truly break free. In my opinion, the way you "prevent" gang violence is to eliminate gangs and incarcerate their members. Whether you call them gangs, cartels, organizations, religions, or nations, the violence they foment must be stopped. Especially when it affects the citizens of the nation.

As many others have pointed out, the UN staff attempted to sabotage President and First Lady Trump, first with the escalator and then with the teleprompter for which President Trump thanks them before he begins his speech. (They did get the teleprompter fixed shortly after he began his talk.) He calls upon the Countries that make up the UN to unite against terrorism, unchecked migration, biological welfare, and the loss of cultural identity within the invaded countries (with many of the migrants actively destructing those things that make each country unique from destroying statues, desecrating military memorials, and raping women and children).
On September 23, 2025, the White House published the statement First Lady Melania Trump Launches a Global Coalition for Children Fostering the Future Together in which the First Lady is lauded for creating a global coalition, Fostering the Future Together, of the spouses of the heads of government of the Nation-States to protect the well-being of their nation's children through education, innovation, and technology with the first official meeting to be held in 1st quarter of 2026 at the White House. The First Lady would like for all children to flourish in the digital age. She has the following objectives for the global coalition:
Prioritization of personal development of children.
Unification of efforts surrounding children, technology, and education.
Collaboration with the private sector to provide access to innovative education technology, including artificial intelligence, robotics, and blockchain.
Exchange of solutions encompassing advantages and risks of artificial intelligence.
As I have noted before, if children do not have reading comprehension, all the digital assets in the world will not be useful to them. However, digital assets can assist in teaching students reading comprehension provided they are administered in such a way as to get student 'buy-in' to the process.
