I'm trying a new format: a once a week summary on what actions President Trump and the White House have taken in the past week. This summary covers Sunday, August 9 through Saturday, August 15, 2026.
EO14159 uses the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA) 8 USC 1101 and 3 USC 301 to make it the policy of the US to faithfully execute immigration laws with civil and criminal enforcement priorities through the Federal Homeland Security Task Forces. This EO also calls for identification of unregistered illegal aliens and charge them civil fines and penalties per INA. Removals shall be efficient, and detention facilities will be utilized for short term housing of said illegals. State cooperation is sought and voluntary compliance with law is expected.
I don't know about you; but, I can see all kinds of issues with allowing private tech companies who are already gathering data on private citizens and selling that data to pay for their AI Data Centers to have access to sensitive government information. Even with 'oversight' they will be able to hide nefarious actions long enough to profit from them by the time the government catches up to them.

In all of this, parental choice is maximized over any schedule of childhood vaccines. President Trump says the DOJ will challenge those states who violate a child's right to religious or medical exemptions. This order ensures we use the best medical advice in the world when determining what chemicals we inject into our children.
And already, the American Pediatric Association and others are vowing to defy this new EO as they continue to push the rest of the shots upon our most vulnerable population. You'd think they'd be happy with the additional money from 5 office visits for 11 shots instead of 1 office visit for 18 shots. However, it makes me wonder if they are getting paid by the shot not by the office visit since they are vowing to not follow this science-based recommendation.

On August 13, 2026, the White House published the release The Great Transshipment Scam which is a 25 page pdf (click here to download) from the Office of Trade and Manufacturing Policy in which they describe how some trade partners (like China and 40 others) of the US use third countries in order to avoid US Tariffs. While China has dropped its use of 3rd countries to avoid US tariffs, there are 40 others who have increased their use. The report has identified 3 tiers of members in the transshipment network: Tier 1 are the diversified scale leaders; Tier 2 are the scale leaders with significant economic integration with China; and Tier 3 are the small, opportunistic Chinese targets (click to enlarge table).
This network causes loss of tariff revenue for the US which lead to broader economic losses: jobs, GDP, and Federal Tax Revenues. The report concludes:
The AI Detective Border is one of several initiatives the second Trump Administration is undertaking to reduce illegal transshipment. Whether these measures will be sufficient to curb the broader budgetary and economic costs imposed by the Great Transshipment Scam remains to be seen.
Answering that question rigorously will require analysis of trade and customs data from the countries and jurisdictions implicated in transshipment. As those data become available, the Trump Administration will evaluate whether, and to what extent, its anti-transshipment measures are working. On August 13, 2026, The Trump-Kennedy Center Board renames the Center: The John F. Kennedy Memorial Center for the Performing Arts, Restored and Renovated by President Donald J. Trump but the activist judge said Congress had to approve any title changes but the Board disagrees. The sign is already changed. This action is in response to an activist judge blocking the original attempt to add President Trump's name to the Center. Expect the activist judges to intervene again and demand the new sign be taken down.
On August 15, 2026, Eric L Daugherty reported President Trump has designated the White House Ballroom construction as a military project to circumvent the activist judges who want the project stopped because a passerby did not like the look of it. Turns out this passerby has multiple 'frivolous' lawsuits in the works. President Trump would also like for those who published details of the military complex development below the ballroom to be declared as treasonists as they revealed top secret plans for the military complex. Joint Chief of Staff Chairman Dan Caine declared:
I declare there is a valid military requirement for a secure, state-of-the-art facility that provides for the physical protection of the President and the command, control, and communication capabilities necessary for the President to carry out his Commander-in-Chief responsibilities over the United States Armed Forces anywhere across the globe at any time.
On August 10, 2026, the FR published the Presidential Notice Continuation of U.S. Drug Interdiction Assistance to the Government of Colombia which was signed August 3, 2026. This notice declares that the interdiction of aircraft suspected to be engaged in illicit drug trafficking in Columbian airspace is necessary due to the extraordinary threat posed to Colombia. In addition, Colombia has appropriate procedures in place to protect innocent life both in the air and on the ground when such interdiction occurs.

This notice declares the national emergency declared in EO 13222 Continuation of Export Control Regulations of August 17, 2001 signed by President Bush,as amended by EO 13637 Administration of Reformed Export Controls of March 8, 2013. signed by President Obama, will continue for another year.

On August 14, 2026, the White House published the Presidential Message on the Anniversary of the Social Security Act (last discussed in my August 15, 2025 ANP Article) announcing president Franklin D Roosevelt signed this act into law 91 years ago with a promise that our workers will have a retirement providing them security and prosperity. To help provide security and prosperity, the OBBB (index available in my August 2, 2025 ANP Article) eliminated federal taxes on SSI. President Trump seeks to preserve Social Security through eliminating waste, fraud, and abuse in the program. Social Security benefits belong to American citizens who labored for them. President Trump writes:
We will ensure that Social Security remains unshakable and that every American senior can enjoy the safe, secure retirement they worked a lifetime to achieve.
On August 12, 2026, US Citizen and US Marine Corps Veteran Robert Gilman arrived home due to the actions taken by President Trump to secure his release from a Russian prison through President Putin. Robert is grateful to be home.
