Section 2 - Updating the Childhood Vaccine Schedule - directs the CDC and its Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) to review this data and update the childhood and adolescent vaccine schedule as appropriate with a eye to maximizing parental flexibility on the timing and sequencing of routine immunizations. Every executive department and agency shall update applicable regulations, actions, funding, and coverage to align with the ACIP/CDC changes and shall continue to be covered by Medicaid, the Children's Health Insurance Program, and the Vaccines for Children Program. In addition, the HHS Director of the Office of Intergovernmental and External Affairs shall ensure that State government and health officials are informed so they can consider revising their State vaccination laws to be in compliance with the ACIP/CDC recommendations.
This EO is one step in ensuring Americans are receiving the best medical advice in the world. It was found that the US recommends more vaccines than any other peer nation (up to twice as many as countries in the EU). US children currently receive at least 84 vaccines contained in 57 shots for 17 specific diseases plus an additional RSV monoclonal antibody immunization making a total of 18 diseases worth of vaccinations. The study prioritizes 11 routine childhood vaccines and leaves the rest for parents to make individualized decisions based on the risk status of the child in question. The US is in the minority of nations that require vaccinations in order to attend public school.
The goal of the Trump Administration, in general, is to make our children healthy again and part of that process is to revamp the vaccination schedule to reflect international best practices.
On May 29, 2026, President Trump signed the Presidential Memorandum Approving Critical Position Pay Authority for National Security Investment Workforce. Up to 400 positions will qualify for this pay. Agencies and executive departments will apply to the OPM/OMB for requests under this new framework. This change can set rates of basic pay up to $400,000 for positions that strengthen US supply chain resilience, secure access to critical minerals and advanced technologies, and advance priority investment programs essential to our national defense and economic security. It has been determined that this rate of pay is consistent with market comparability. It also reflects national security urgency as a higher rate of pay is crucial to recruit the best and brightest for these necessary positions. The US must have a workforce that can execute major investment programs that reduce US dependence on foreign sources, strengthens industrial resilience, and protects the US national interests. The OPM is directed to provide oversight ensuring that these funds are used to recruit or retain well-qualified individuals.
Section 1 - Purpose - to remove outdated regulations that do not comply with federal law and President Trump's EOs especially concerning off-road vehicles with a goal of rescinding EO 11644 and EO 11989 which would allow the public greater access to Federal lands on equal terms.
Section 2 - Officially rescind EO11644 and EO11989 and directs the Secretaries of War, Interior, and Agriculture as well as the Board of Directors of the Tennessee Valley Authority and the head of any other relevant agency to initiate rulemaking to rescind or revise provisions initially adopted as part of these 2 EOs.
The accompanying Fact Sheet President Donald J. Trump Removes Unnecessary and Counterproductive Restrictions on Access to Federal Lands further explains that this EO removes more unnecessary and burdensome regulations, rules, and policies impacting American's use of Public Lands. President Trump believes these EOs along with the subsequent rules, regulations, and policies were an overreach by the Federal government. President Trump sees restoring access to Federal land as balanced land management. Remove restrictions and provide Americans more freedom to use the Federal Lands that have been set aside for their use as well as prioritizing multiple use access, elevating local decision-making, and supporting responsible energy development, ranching, grazing, timber production, and recreation.
On June 1, 2026, President Trump signed the Proclamation Further Adjusting the Tariff Regimes for Imports of Aluminum, Steel, and Copper into the United States based on the current Secretary of Commerce's report with recommendations to adjust the tariff regimes proposed in Proclamations 9704, 0705, and 10962 (as amended). Specifically, expanding the category of derivative products that include agricultural equipment and certain heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning (HVAC) systems and components that are predominately for residential use (but currently listed under commercial use). In addition, the Secretary of Commerce recommended a reduction on the tariffs on mobile industrial equipment and machinery as well as aluminum lithographic plates and steel racks. Doing so would support American businesses and factories using these products. In addition, the threshold for being called made entirely from American aluminum, steel, or copper be lowered from 95% to 85%.
The accompanying Fact Sheet President Donald J. Trump Updates Tariffs on Steel, Aluminum, and Copper Imports further explains that this Proclamation will more effectively address national security threats, spur investment in American agriculture, housing, and manufacturing as well as facilitate US production of related products. President Trump believes that this change will strengthen critical American industries and put American production first.
On Global Coptic Day, we celebrate the enduring faith, time-honored traditions, and remarkable resilience of the Coptic Orthodox Church. More than 2,000 years ago, the Holy Family fled to Egypt and sought refuge from persecution, blessing the land that later became home to one of the world’s oldest Christian communities. When Saint Mark the Evangelist began spreading the Gospel in Egypt decades later, he planted a seed that would grow into the extraordinary Coptic Orthodox Church.
Today, Coptic Christians throughout the United States enrich our national life through their devotion to God, love of family, and steadfast witness to the blessings of faith and freedom. Yet throughout the world, Coptic Christians have faced the oppression of empires, persecution, and unspeakable violence—from martyrs like Saint Maurice in the ancient world to the 21 Coptic construction workers brutally executed by ISIS terrorists on a Libyan beach just 11 years ago. The violent persecution of Christians is a barbaric evil, and my Administration remains firmly committed to ending it in all its forms.
As President, I proudly established the Religious Liberty Commission to safeguard the free exercise of faith and protect the fundamental rights of religious believers across our country. The Commission is also tasked with working to further the cause of religious liberty around the world. America stands as the ultimate example of freedom to the world, and we will always defend the right of every person to live out their faith openly, freely, and without fear.
As we celebrate 250 glorious years of American Independence, Global Coptic Day stands as a profound testament to a truth written in the very soul of this Republic—that the free exercise of religion is the cornerstone of our constitutional way of life, the first freedom enshrined by our Founders, and the liberty every tyrant has always feared and sought to destroy. The faithful of the Coptic Orthodox Church, who have carried their cross through centuries of fire and suffering to emerge stronger each time, remind every American what it truly means to stand firm in faith, endure with courage, and trust in the providence of Almighty God.
On June 1, 2026, the Second Lady, Usha Chilukuri Vance, announced her Summer Reading Challenge is back. All children in grades K-8 are invited to participate. The Challenge runs from June 1 to September 4 and participants are expected to read and track 12 books. Once participants have completed the Challenge, they will receive a personalized certificate, an America 250-themed bookmark, and a link for a special prize. They will also be entered into a drawing for a visit to Washington DC on September 25, 2026, with a chaperone. The reading log form can be downloaded here as a pdf. The book choice is up to the participant (and their parent/guardian). The reading log form must be submitted electronically. More information can be found on the Summer Reading Challenge website.

The Senate is back from their most recent vacation (of 10 days). The House is still futzing around with "pro forma" days, so they are still on vacation. Everyone needs to be paying attention to what their (s)elected officials are doing and asking themselves, are my (s)elected officials representing what I want to see happen in government? If the answer is NO (and it SHOULD be NO because the SAVE America Act is still being thwarted), then remember that when voting in both your primaries as well as your general election in November! Let's show these (s)elected officials that whether or not they follow the will of We The People determines whether or not they remain in Congress!
The SENATE last convened on June 1, 2026 at 3pm and adjourned by 6:27pm. Next meeting scheduled for 10am on June 2, 2026.
The HOUSE last convened on May 29, 2026 at noon and adjourned at 12:04pm. Next meeting is scheduled for noon on June 2, 2026.
The House took the following actions during this 4 minute meeting:

Copies of the signed agreements will be retained by the Office of the Clerk as part of the records of the House.

This bill directs the President to issue a medal of sacrifice for eligible law enforcement officers and first responders who are killed in the line of duty.
The bill also directs the President to establish a commission on the medal of sacrifice and appoint its members. The bill sets forth responsibilities of the commission, including to advise on the design of the medal and determine how the medal will be presented.
Under the bill, eligible law enforcement officers and first responders include federal, state, local, tribal, or territorial law enforcement officers or first responders who are not subject to an official act of wrongdoing (e.g., a determination that the officer or first responder acted outside the scope of their duties or in a manner that was not in accordance with official policies or procedures).
A law enforcement officer or first responder who is subject to an official act of wrongdoing is generally not eligible for the medal of sacrifice. However, in the case of such an officer or first responder, the bill requires the commission to investigate the circumstances surrounding the officer or first responder's cause of death and issue a final determination on their eligibility.
This bill authorizes the Capitol Police Board to increase the mandatory retirement age for a member of the Capitol Police to up to age 62. Under current law, members of the Capitol Police are generally subject to mandatory retirement at age 57 (with some exceptions), but may receive a waiver from the board authorizing them to continue working until they are 60.

On May 26, 2026, the case was first assigned to Judge Richard J Leon then transferred to Judge Amir H Ali. I am thinking that since Judge Richard J Leon was assigned to the Dunn case a different judge had to be assigned to this newest case (District Judge Leonie M Brinkema and Magistrate Judge Ivan D Davis were assigned to the Floyd case).

Those are some of the exact words used by Google’s censors, aka 'Orwellian content police,' in describing many of our controversial stories. Stories later proven to be truthful and light years ahead of the mainstream media. But because we reported those 'inconvenient truths' they're trying to bankrupt ANP.
