Section 1 - Purpose & Policy - Thriving military families mean a more resilient fighting force and thus a stronger and more secure America. President Trump, in his first term, enhanced job opportunities within the Federal Government for military spouses and expanded occupational licensure for military spouses allowing them to take that licensure from state to state. While these 2 actions created continuity and financial stability for military families, more still needs to be done. Military families are greatly affected by the service member's frequent relocations and long absences. These issues may limit quality housing, employment opportunities, and other resources. Prolonged or frequent service member absences create hardships on the families and the spouse who is running the household mostly alone.
Section 2 - Establishment and Composition of the President's Military Spouse Commission - is now established and titled the President's Military Spouse Commission. The spouse of the Secretary of War shall serve as the chair. Spouses of the following senior military leaders (if applicable) shall be members of the board: Secretary of the Army, Secretary of the Navy, Secretary of the Air Force, Chairman of the Joint chiefs of Staff, Chief of Staff of the Army, Commandant of the Marine Corps, Chief of Naval Operations, Chief of Staff of the Air Force, Chief of Space Operations, Chief of the National Guard Bureau, Commandant of the Coast Guard, Sergeant Major of the army, Sergeant Major of the Marine corps, Chief Master Sergeant of the Space Force, Senior Enlisted Advisor to the Chief of the National Guard Bureau, Senior Enlisted Advisor to the Chairman of the Joint chiefs of Staff, Master Chief Petty Office of the Coast Guard, Master Chief Petty Officer of the Navy, Chief Master Sergeant of the Air Force, Secretary of Homeland Security, and other individuals that the Chair or Executive Director may invite to participate. Members serve as long as their spouse is performing the duties of the role described above.
Section 3 - Duties of the Commission - Advise and assist the President on policies that affect military spouses and families, liaise with military spouses who are not members of the Commission to discover common areas of concern; develop policies that address these challenges (such as housing, employment, healthcare, education, deployment-related support); recommend actions to help ensure the overall well-being of military spouses and improve the family's quality of life; and generate a report to the President at the end of each fiscal year for as long as the Commission exists as well as provide a report at the end of President Trump's term of office.
Section 4 - Administration - Executive departments and agencies shall furnish information and assistance to the Commission (IAW current law and subject to availability of funds). While members serve without compensation, travel reimbursement is allowed per 5 USC 5701-5707 based on funds availability. The Department of War will provide funding, administrative, and technical support to the Commission IAW current law and based on existing appropriations. The Commission may establish subcommittees as appropriate. Functions of the President as it relates to the Commission are delegated to the Secretary of War (except reporting to Congress). The Commission shall terminate 2 years from the date of this order unless extended by the President.
The accompanying Fact Sheet President Donald J. Trump Establishes the President’s Military Spouse Commission explains the purpose of the EO is to strengthen military readiness by improving the life of the spouse and family of the service members. This EO prioritizes military excellence through military spouses. Finally, President Trump continues to deliver for all military families.
I was at a duty station where one soldier on a field training exercise lost his firearm. Everyone involved in the exercise were required to remain in the field until such time as the firearm was located or it was determined to be unrecoverable. Unfortunately, this extension to the field exercise was unexpected by the spouse/family and also happened over the end-of-the-month payday. The soldiers came back after a month in the field to an absolute mess for many of the families. Spouses did not have access to the bank account or ATM card, some did not speak English, and many did not know how to drive. Of course, when children are involved there are many emergencies, some needing hospital visits. The Commander of the installation discovered, the hard way, that many changes needed to be made beginning with forcing service members to have updated wills on file in each Company to teaching spouses how to speak English, drive, and manage bank accounts. They were in the process of establishing these changes when I rotated out. I am sure many of our readers have tales to tell of incidents at the various installations where they have been assigned as well. Please feel free to share your tales in the comments section.
Even in garrison during peacetime, field training exercises are held to maintain military readiness. The service member can be in the field (and unable to return home) for anywhere from 3 days to 3 weeks at a time. When I was in Germany, in an 8-month period, I spent 180 days of it in the field (equivalent to 6 months). Then there are short-term assignments called TDY (temporary duty) where you can be away for months. There are what I called 'solo' assignments where you are sent, without your family, to a different duty station for at least a year (like South Korea). Of course, then there are war deployments which will be of unknown duration. This is all in addition to transferring about every 3 years.
This Commission is an absolute necessity and I am thankful to the spouses of those military leaders for volunteering their time and energy to help military families cope with the rigors and stresses they experience when their loved one is not at home.
Factories are humming. Workers are earning more. Investment is pouring in. Exports are rising. This is the manufacturing renaissance President Trump promised — and delivered.
At 80, President Trump still tries to make sure he has time in his very busy schedule to get in a round or two of golf. On August 2, 2026, President Trump made space in his calendar to compete in the Bedminster Club Championship Golf Tournament in New Jersey. He won with a score of 70.
In other news, it is reported that there are 280,000 fewer workers employed by the Federal Government. And, it appears the Federal Government is now operating more efficiently because of it. While they haven't said how many Acting DNI Pulte terminated, we know it was 30% of the whole DNI.
While we are not seeing First Lady Melania Trump, she is very active with the projects she has taken on. Right now, she is working hard to re-unite children displaced by the Russia-Ukraine war.
The SENATE convened on August 3, 2026 at 3pm and adjourned at 6:46pm. They held 1 vote.
VOTE 218 - On Cloture on the Motion to Proceed - HR6500 - A bill to extend duty-free treatment provided with respect to imports from certain countries in Africa under the African Growth and Opportunity Act, to extend customs user fees, and for other purposes. - Agreed to 89-4 (Kaine D-VA; Paul R-KY; Sanders I-VT; and Warren D-MA) with 7 members not voting: Blackburn (R-TN); Booker (D-NJ); Graham (R-SC); Markey (D-MA); McConnell (R-KY); Slotkin (D-MI); and Welch (D-VT)
Note that this bill does NOT block a government shutdown - HR6500 is summarized as:
This bill extends through December 31, 2028, trade preferences that provide duty-free access to the U.S. market for most exports from eligible countries in sub-Saharan Africa (SSA). The bill also extends through December 31, 2031, customs user fees and merchandise processing fees.
Specifically, the bill extends through 2028 the duty-free treatment of the products of beneficiary SSA countries under the Trade Act of 1974 (specifically, the Generalized System of Preferences) and the African Growth and Opportunity Act (AGOA). (Currently, there are 32 countries eligible for AGOA.)
Additionally, the extended period applies to the following provisions of AGOA: (1) the duty-free treatment of certain apparel articles from beneficiary SSA countries; and (2) the third-country fabric provision, which allows limited amounts of apparel articles from lesser developed beneficiary SSA countries to qualify for duty-free treatment, even if the yarns and fabrics used in their production are imported from non-AGOA countries (e.g., apparel assembled in Kenya with Chinese fabrics).
The bill also provides for the refund of duties (i.e., liquidation or reliquidation of entries) on articles from eligible SSA countries that entered into the United States after September 30, 2025, and before the date of this bill's enactment. A refund request must be filed with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and must contain sufficient information for CBP to locate the entry or, if the entry cannot be located, reconstruct the entry. CBP must refund any duties previously paid with respect to the entry within 90 days.

Senator Rick Scott is calling for Congress to actually work 5 days a week just like taxpayers. I agree.
Congress can't get the SAVE America Act passed, but NYC Communist Mayor Mamdani can require ID for his government run grocery stores to make sure non-NYC people can't shop there.
I have mentioned multiple times in previous ANP Articles that we should expect another government shutdown at the end of this Fiscal Year (September 30, 2026) just in time to make people upset before the November 3, 2026 election cycle. Senator John Kennedy has appeared on Meet The Press to say Schumer is plotting a government shutdown before the midterms. Then Senator Kennedy calls for the filibuster to be nuked so the traitors can't hold the government hostage [again - they've done it twice this Fiscal Year already]. At least we know the traitors are planning this so we can prepare accordingly.
A federal judge blocked New York's law requiring ICE and other federal law enforcement officers to uncover their faces and display visible identification. However, the judge refused to block New York's separate law ending local immigration enforcement agreements. States have no authority to regulate federal officers under the Constitution’s Supremacy Clause.
The Attorney General of Florida just moved to have leftist Judge Nancy Abudu IMPEACHED after she served as a DIRECTOR in the SPLC's litigation while it defrauded America and funded the KKK.
The Detroit Field Office was informed by the Michigan State Police (MSP), Michigan Attorney General (MAG), and Muskegon Police Department (MCPD) that the Muskegon City Clerk's Office (MCCO) referred allegations of fraudulent voter registrations after receiving 6 large packages of between 8,000 and 10,000 voter registrations through the mail from a particular company. A copy of the report generated was provided to the FBI on October 27, 2020.
In the FBI document dated March 16, 2021:
On March 16, 2021, the FBI officially opened the investigation of the State of Michigan CDPO - Election Laws case ID 56D-DE-3407960 in consultation with the DOJ Public Integrity Section (completed on March 11, 2021). They called it a Sensitive Investigative Matter. The document provides a summary that states the Michigan State Police (MSP), Michigan Attorney General (MAG), and Muskegon Police Department (MCPD) had received and were investigating allegations of fraudulent voter registrations being submitted to the Muskegon City Clerk's Office (MCCO) in which the City Clerk determined that the 8,000 to 10,000 applications sent by a particular company were likely fraudulent as reported by a former worker for that company. When MSP went to the company, they found prepay debit cards which raised concerns that the company was paying people to register to vote. Around October 5, 2020, MCCO received applications via US Mail and determined some were fraudulent. Of these, the bulk of the possibly fraudulent applications came from one company.
On October 8, 2020, MCPD conducted an interview of the original whistleblower, a first-level supervisor who oversaw Canvassers for the company, stating that the prepaid debit cards were being used to pay the workers. First she said Canvassers were paid by applications turned in then later changed that statement to paid by the hour. The Whistleblower also could not later remember the name of the next level supervisor even though that person was identified in an earlier recorded interview.
On October 22, 2020, MSP was authorized to track cellphones for movement by individuals selected for observation. Tracking one individual led them to a building where the business being reported had offices. A search warrant was issued and employee lists, payroll information, purchase and distribution of reloadable debit cards, and other records were obtained. Additional armed agents were also sent to the location because there were concerned about weapons on the premises.
On March 16, 2021, the US Attorney for the Western District of Michigan was informed of the facts in the case and told them the AG's office would prosecute for wire fraud (18 USC 1343) as well as any other federal criminal laws that could be proven in a written approval.
In an email thread dated between February 11, 2021 and August 12, 2021:
The thread begins with an email, dated February 11, 2021, containing summary of the October 5, 2020 MCCO report of possibly fraudulent voter registration forms.
The next email, dated March 11, 2021, in which the writer states PIN does not concur with a grand jury investigation and the recipient is encouraged to consult again if they want to pursue criminal charges. However, the author wants to be notified of any election contests in the jurisdiction where the fraudulent registrations are being reported.
The next email, dated April 1, 2021, now states that PIN agrees with the preliminary investigation and recommends a detailed assessment of the fraudulent registrations as well as any pending election contests in the jurisdiction.
The next email, dated June 28, 2021, asks the recipient to prepare a synopsis summarizing findings to date.
The next email, dated July 20, 2021, simply asked the recipient if they have spoken to PIN.
The reply email, dated July 20, 2021, stated that the PIN contact would talk to a supervisor and reply.
The reply email, dated July 30, 2021, asked if the PIN contact had responded yet.
The reply email, dated August 12, 2021, replied that the PIN contact advised no further action should be taken at this time.
In the FBI document dated October 5, 2021:
A person reported possible election fraud on November 3, 2020 when an unknown-to-them individual wearing a Biden shirt arrived at the home offering to collect the person's ballot. When the person indicated they were not registered to vote, the individual produced a tablet and offered to register the person to vote. The person declined and did not provide any personal information to the individual. Later, the person received a voter registration card in the mail. The MCCO would not provide any information about the person's registration to the person. Upon receiving a ballot in the mail prior to Halloween in 2020, the ballot was shredded by the person. The person swears they have never registered nor voted in any election. The voting database was searched and only 1 revealed a restricted result.
In an email thread dated between October 20, 2021 and November 4, 2021:
On October 20, 2021, the author requested an updated letter on concurrence/nonconcurrence by the DOJ/PIN.
On November 4, 2021, the recipient stated they understood that the matter was not being investigated or prosecuted at this time.
In the document dated November 16, 2021:
The author of the email writes they are uncomfortable with the idea of closing the case at this point because the author had not yet received a response to an email sent November 11, 2021 about proving how fraudulent voter registration applications could impact the election as well as showing that it was done "willfully". The author also expresses concerns based on the DOJ's publication Federal Prosecution of Election Offenses dated December 2017, provided by the DOJ Public Integrity Section and how there are concerns about whether closing the investigation is appropriate, citing several sections of the publication. This document also includes a November 3, 2021 email stating that PIN is in agreement with the USAO and FBI to not seek prosecution of this case.
In the document dated January 4, 2022,
The recipient responds to a January 3, 2022 request by a Detroit FBI agent to meet to discuss the DOJ's publication Federal Prosecution of Election Offenses dated December 2017, provided by the DOJ Public Integrity Section since the recipient was unavailable by phone. The recipient suggested meeting January 4, 2022 or talking later in the week.
Documents about fraudulent registrations investigations, dated between March 22, 2022 and May 19, 2023, showed that while the registrant's name was valid:
March 22, 2022 - date of birth, address, and phone number were invalid
May 5, 2022 - name, date of birth, and address were invalid,
May 31, 2022 - date of birth, address, and phone number were invalid
May 19, 2023 - 91 forms had no results in databases [they were fake], 16 were confirmed to be existing people but only 4 of those had signatures on file that matched the signature on the registration form.
In the document dated February 2, 2023:
The Director of Enforcement & Litigation | Election Crimes Branch |US Department of Justice | Criminal Division | Public Integrity Section completed a database check on 20 randomly selected voter registration applications that had different handwriting (identified by the MCCO as being potentially fraudulent). They found 7 had completely fabricated information, 4 had a real name but the date of birth, drivers license number, and/or SSN do not match, 1 had a real first and last name but different middle name, 1 had a false address for a person who never lived in the city, and the remaining 7 were correct or nearly correct. [What does that even mean nearly correct? Either the information was correct or it was not.]
In an email dated April 28, 2023:
A spreadsheet was sent which contained breakdowns percentages requested by the FBI. The spreadsheet was not included in the materials approved for release on July 10, 2026.
In the document dated October 3, 2023:
The author authorizes the interviews of approximately 100 individuals serving as Canvassers in 2020 to be conducted after the November 7, 2023 election is concluded, certified, and uncontested because voting in Michigan combines both federal and state elections making them unitary. The author also instructs the person to whom the email is addressed to consult with the author's agency prior to engaging in any other potentially overt investigative activity close in time to another election, to include Michigan's presidential primary election on February 27, 2024 or Michigan's state primary election on August 6, 2024.
In the document dated September 25, 2025:
FBI Detroit closed the case because all leads were exhausted and the investigation did not identify a criminal violation or a priority threat to national security. The FBI found no evidence that anyone submitted false voter registrations. [Interesting, I seem to remember that a couple Canvassers stated during their interviews that they, themselves, submitted fraudulent voter registration forms and they and others also said that they knew others who had done so (see my August 2, 2026 ANP Article for the synopsis of those interviews).
What I find most interesting in this data is the lack of research into whether or not those fraudulent voter registrations were actually used to vote in Michigan's elections. I only saw one fraudulently registered voter who came forward and said they did not register and shredded the ballot when it appeared in their mailbox.
Where I live, you can log on to the voter registration system and see if you voted or not. Many people found that they were recorded as having voted early when they went on election day to the polls. Many of them claimed that they had not received a mail-in ballot. My state made it so that receiving a mail-in ballot is an opt-out feature, so individual voters have to figure out how to use the voter registration system to opt-out of receiving mailed ballots. I did so and opted out of having a ballot mailed to me. I used a mail-in ballot once, as I was overseas in the Army and my home-of-record was Florida. Personally, we have a mailbox alarm that lets us know when our mailbox is opened and we have a camera system in which our mailbox is clearly visible so we know if the person opening our mailbox was authorized (like the mailman) to open it. If you opt for mail-in ballots, I highly recommend you do the same.

Those are some of the exact words used by Google’s censors, aka 'Orwellian content police,' in describing many of our controversial stories. Stories later proven to be truthful and light years ahead of the mainstream media. But because we reported those 'inconvenient truths' they're trying to bankrupt ANP.
