Intrusive regulation, higher taxes, structural unemployment, mass amnesty for illegals, race reparations, eminent domain, and global war. What's not to like?
Put aside the fact that there is no universal voter ID requirement in the U.S., and that millions of illegal immigrants were allowed to illegally flood the country, and were physically transported and installed into select cities and counties. Election irregularity from 2020 seems to have been normalized, but it became buried and camouflaged in the DNC’s recent appeal to voters: hatred of the President, hatred of Israel, and hatred of the United States.
Hate is a dangerous thing to campaign on because it eventually turns against your own interests.
Some otherwise pragmatic citizens apparently were led to incorrectly believe that a “protest vote” at the state level such as in Texas or Michigan or California, is a referendum on foreign affairs. It isn’t. It winds up misleading voters over the impact on their own lives, businesses, and families, from installing radical leftists as their state governor, senator or representative.
If you are a voter who otherwise believes in a state constitution, the constitutional concept of dual sovereignty, and the core principle of federalism formed by the reserved powers of the U.S. Tenth Amendment — and you voted for the DNC — you may have shot yourself in the foot.
The DNC was not given a mandate, and has no genuine one of their own.
The biggest illusion of the midterms, however, concerns what expectations have been created by Democrats: that they are going to somehow influence foreign policy. The core of that power however, resides in the chief executive, and two years is a long time in politics. President Trump has his veto pen for domestic matters, but no one in Congress is an Article II commander in chief.
Too many Americans across the political spectrum are also fooling themselves on what the progressive left is actually committed to: U.S. war defeat. The Democrats have been called the war party, and for good reason, but today they are joined with, and serve, the interests of the so-called globalist class. That class doesn’t care about the United States: they care about an ideology that is symbolized by the United Nations and its dystopian social order. Indeed, many members of the DNC and DSA are hoping that Iran actually defeats the US.
It also includes acting in concert with the EU in its irrational provocation of Russia, using war as an instrument of reorganizing society by force — and force is the calling card of the political Left. I’ve called the political left “progressives” but that isn’t accurate: they are pursuing objectives of radicalsocial reordering — population control, deindustrialization, limits on human movement, and controlled thought and speech. That is not only radical in the political sense, but destructive in terms of free human organization. The DSA’s encroachment into the DNC umbrella, appeals to many young, idealistic voters, but there is no such thing as a democrat-socialist. The DSA is the communist party of America.
The Middle East war will be resolved, but the looming threat that many voters have little understanding of, is the determination of the EU to start a war with Russia. The U.S. security state is determined as well. Given the relative power of U.S. cold war legacy institutions, it is remarkable that President Trump has long sought to find ways to put U.S. and Russian relations on some kind of rational footing.
But the entire Ukraine project, including serious escalation of drone attacks deep into Russia, outside of normal military channels, has its actual ideological core in the progressive left. Fighting and defeating Russia is a modern “Bolshevik” fantasy, and its domestic U.S. and EU policy base is a fusion of DNC and globalist ambitions. It may result in drastic disruptions to normal life that voters do not appreciate — and they just installed its political enablers.
Our structure of government contemplates checks and balances among the branches. The DNC's ultimate goal is to remove all checks, and unbalance and consolidate the branches into a single permanent party that pursues absolute regulation, universal taxation, structural underemployment, mass amnesty, race reparations, eminent domain, court-packing, dissolution of the electoral college, and eventual idling of all competitive elections.
Turnover in midterms is historically normal. So is subsequent consolidation of executive powers. Politically, the president has been liberated to carry them out and follow the conservative agenda.
